John Johnson

John has enjoyed a successful career in a variety of industries commencing 1985 in Financial Services and Estate Agency Management where he lead a team which launched the UK’s first combined Solicitor/Estate Agency practice for Langley’s Solicitors which grew into a leading Practice with offices in Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire.
In 1989 he was appointed Sales Director of Humberside Publishing Limited and in 1991 joined Dixon Motors plc as General Manager which grew in annual turnover from £100m to £1.4b over a 10 year period.
In 2000 he founded Automatrix UK Ltd, an innovative internet based automotive search platform which he sold in 2004 to Auto Data Network Inc, a US based NASDAQ listed company, after which he remained a Director for 2 years.
In 2007 he joined a new start-up; Vibrant Energy Ltd as their Commercial Director (now Vibrant Energy Matters Ltd) and was responsible for formulating and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies and aligning Operational activities. Vibrant became the UK's leading provider of Energy Performance Certificates and directly employed over 120 Domestic Energy Assessors.
Due to the illness of a family member in 2009 he became the Interim Managing Director for Wetcover Ltd and Postillion Ltd.  He took Wetcover Ltd online and developed new markets across Europe, US, South Pacific and South American regions which increased turnover from £1.2m pa to £1.85m and he also secured a Partnership agreement with Sharp Electronics (UK) Limited for the Postillion X-Now cloud solution.
Since 2010 he has been dedicated to developing a Green Deal model and is the Managing Director of Your Green Deal Provider Limited.  
Your GDP offer a unique service in this emerging sector to enable local SME companies to work together to deliver Green Deal and ECO funded energy efficient measures to domestic and none domestic markets. They are the chosen Provider service for the largest merchant buying group in the UK, the National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS) as well as numerous local authorities and organisations. They have successfully launched several white labelled Green Deal services for leading independent merchants including Ridgeons Green Deal in East Anglia, Bence Green Deal in Gloucestershire and Turnbull Green Deal in Lincolnshire and are developing a further 40 services with other merchants to create a national service involving over 4000 independent installer companies across the UK.
