Hugh Cripps

Chief Executive
Yorkshire Energy Partnership

Speaking at: Yorkshire Roadshow - Sheffield - 12 November 2013

Hugh Cripps joined Yorkshire Energy Partnership (YEP) as CEO in June 2011. YEP is a ‘not for profit’ organisation whose vision is for Yorkshire to be a leading example of a sustainable and thriving low-carbon economy. Prior to this Hugh had been co-founder and Chief Executive of Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) and MD of PECT Consultancy Ltd (PCL), the commercial arm of the charity.

Both YEP and PECT delivered the Energy Saving Trust energy efficiency advice line service until its recent demise, and have been actively managing insulation grants for the domestic sector including CERT, CESP and now ECO.

Hugh is interested in all aspects of sustainability and this is reflected not only in his working life but also in his spare time. He is Chair of Stamford RiverCare and sits on the Welland Rivers Trust
