Professor Doug Crawford-Brown
Speaking at: East England Roadshow - Cambridge - 22 October 2013Professor Crawford-Brown is Director of the Cambridge Centre for Climate Change Mitigation Research at the University of Cambridge and facilitator of the Cambridge Retrofit Programme. He migrated to the UK in 2008 after 25 years at the University of North Carolina in the US, where he was Professor of Environmental Science and Policy and Director of the Institute for the Environment. He has served as advisor on sustainability, climate change and environmental policy to governments and corporations in the US, Thailand, France, UK, China, Japan, Abu Dhabi, Mexico and Czech Republic. His consultancy work is in sustainable design in the built environment, working closely with firms such as Pell Frischmann in the UK and Research Triangle Institute in the US.
